The manure calculator is an EXCEL file that should be downloaded onto your computer. Depending on your computer settings, the file may try to open when double-clicking. If this occurs, exit out of the windows that open. To save the file onto your computer, select the above with the right mouse button and select "Save Target As". A "Save As" window will appear. Save the file to a location on your computer. Go to the saved file from "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" and double-click on the file.
When opening the file in EXCEL97 or EXCEL2000, a window will appear asking if you want to enable macros. Choose yes. When opening the file in EXCEL XP you have to set macro security to medium or low. To do this go to "Tools/Macro/Security". On the Security Level page, select medium or low.
